Job DescriptionExciting opportunity to be part of our NEW Better Connect program in Queensland!Part-time (0.6FTE) ongoing position available, based out of Rockhampton (Darumbal land).$42 - $45.54ph + Super + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging up to $18,550 + Hybrid role with family friendly working conditions.EACH is proud to be the Lead Agency of the Better Connect program (Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs, and Suicide Prevention), a new initiative delivering comprehensive, integrated, and person-centred care across the CCQ region (Central Queensland, Wide Bay, Sunshine Coast).Collaborating with 9 partnering organisations the aim of this service is to address service gaps by enhancing accessibility and integrating primary mental health care, AOD, psychosocial support, and early intervention and prevention through a multidisciplinary, person-centred model of care.Join our Psychological Treatment Services in delivering therapeutic interventions to residents living in Aged Care Facilities who are experiencing mental health concerns.In this role you will work to improve the lives of residents by:Providing high-quality counselling to older individuals in aged care facilities in an individual or group setting.Increasing the mental health awareness of residential aged care facility staff, families and carers.Collaborating closely with RACFs, families and carers as well as other support stakeholders is essential to improve the mental wellbeing of residents.Actively participating in networking and collaborative forums will help develop referral pathways and promote our services at EACH.Engaging in clinical, line management, and peer supervision to maintain professional growth and excellence in service provision.To view a copy of the full Position Description, click here.
