Mental Health Clinician(Nurse/Ot/Sw/Psych)-Hobart,Au

Medacs is currently partnering with a Mental Health clinic in Hobart, Australia. We are seeking Psychologists, Social Workers, Mental Health Nurses, or Mental Health Occupational Therapists to join a multi-disciplinary team and work with a 12-25 year old age group.
Main duties: Provide evidence-based, short-term psychological interventions to young people aged 12-25 years, with mild, moderate, and in some cases severe mental illness.The delivery of therapeutic interventions will primarily include face-to-face individual consultations and group therapy sessions, with some telephone and Skype services provided.Conduct comprehensive bio/psycho/social assessments and the initial screening and intake of young people aged 12-25 years.Participate in clinical review meetings and contribute to care plans.Provide written reports to the clients' referring GP with information regarding assessments undertaken, treatment provided, and recommendations.Requirements: Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or other Allied Health Discipline with eligibility for relevant professional membership.Previous experience working in a Mental Health role delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and conducting comprehensive bio/psycho/social assessments and screening with young people.Driver's Licence.What's offered?
