Gippsland Lakes Complete Health – Bairnsdale VICBetween $85,418 - $97,711 (pro-rata) per annum, plus superannuationPart time 64 hours per fortnightWork within a skilled and experienced multi-disciplinary teamAbout the companyGippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) is a not-for-profit organisation that's been helping East Gippsland residents to live well for more than 40 years.We're one of the region's most high-profile health and support service providers with more than 500 staff, 300 volunteers, and an annual budget in excess of $50 million.About the roleThe Mental Health Clinician is employed by Gippsland Lakes Complete Health (GLCH) and will provide services to the East Gippsland Mental Health and Wellbeing Local.The role will be integrated into a multi-disciplinary team.
This person will be focused on improving outcomes for participants, carers, and the wider community.
They will be skilled in providing quality mental health support and have experience in providing evidence-based interventions.
This person will be committed to building a culture that is inclusive and driven by values that are shared by the participant and the wider community.The Mental Health Clinician will work in close partnership with participants, Lived Experience Professionals and their Clinical colleagues to support the recovery of psychological distress with a strong focus on transparent strengths-based care.DutiesYou will provide high quality comprehensive assessments, deliver appropriate treatment interventions and therapeutic supports to a range of clients experiencing mental health issues.Skills & ExperienceQualification as a registered nurse, social worker, psychologist or occupational therapistDemonstrated experience, skill and/or knowledge in the provision of direct clinical care to people who have experienced mental illness or psychological distressTeam CultureAt GLCH we believe our people are our biggest asset and pride ourselves on a culture that is equitable, encourages open communication and has an emphasis on recognition and career advancement.
