We're here to Stride.About the Service:LikeMind is an innovative mental health service funded by the Ministry of Health, providing a one-stop hub and support for people aged 18 to 65 years currently experiencing or having experienced mental health issues.On offer:Based in Wagga Wagga, NSWPermanent Part-time, 4 days per weekPaying on HPSS Level 3+ (above award payment for highly experienced clinicians) plus SuperSalary Packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650!Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards – access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)One paid wellbeing leave day per yearPurchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12-month period (pro rata entitlement if part-time)Paid parental leave supportSupportive team environmentBeautifully appointed consultation roomsClinical Supervision and Monthly Group Peer SupervisionExcellent training and career developmentRole Overview:The Mental Health Clinician is a key frontline position within the LikeMind service.Responsible for brief and ongoing interventions and the development of collaborative individual care plans for people aged 18-65 years.Function autonomously and work collaboratively with other clinicians within the program to develop services for people with mental health issues and their families.Provide evidence-based, best practice interventions, comprehensive assessment, and care planning.Participate in clinical review and quality assurance processes.Attend business and professional development meetings, contributing to the development and maintenance of community partnerships with key external stakeholders.Requirements:General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (with mental health accreditation), AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker registration, or Social Worker with eligibility to apply to the AASW.Knowledge and experience in the provision of clinical mental health assessment and evidence-based interventions.Proven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning.Sound understanding of the public, non-government and private mental health systems and associated non-mental health programs in a community setting.Demonstrated computer skills and ability to maintain clinical records.Proven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality.Positive, solution-focused attitude with commitment to participate in service improvement activities and personal clinical growth.Well-developed written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC.Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.Vaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all positions and is in accordance with Stride policy.
