About youAs an experienced provider of evidence-based intervention and case management in a mental health setting, you'll have a strong understanding of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented practices.
You'll also:
hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, or Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthbe registered with the appropriate professional regulatory body (e.g., AHPRA, AASW)have experience utilizing telehealth platforms for remote service deliverybe committed to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest research and best practices in mental healthhold a current Blue Card and National Criminal Check as well as a current Australian Driver Licence and reliable vehicle to assist community-based work as neededAbout the roleThe Mental Health Clinician will be responsible for providing high-quality health and wellbeing services to individuals in the regions of Toowoomba, Lockyer Valley, and Somerset.
Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to determine the mental health needs of adult consumers, you'll provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to address a range of mental health concerns.
Service delivery may include both in-person and telehealth supports.
