Salary: Salary rate: $49.28 p/hr + $1.01 p/hr regional allowance + superDeadline: 31 Dec 2024, 5:00 pmAbout the opportunity:The Mental Health Clinician, based at headspace Esperance, will provide high level clinical services, consultation and leadership to the headspace team and advanced clinical services to young people and their families and friends by coordinating the triage and intake process for enquiries and referrals and providing direct services to a caseload of young people with complex needs in Esperance.Key clinical tasks of this role are to:Provide clinical services in accordance with the headspace model and utilising evidence-based practice.Maintain case records, in the agreed format and within expected timeframes that clearly documents activities undertaken and ensure all documentation is comprehensive, factual and complies with relevant legislation, professional guidelines and organisational policies.Work closely with the Clinical Lead to manage referrals, intake, waiting lists and case allocations.Demonstrate familiarity with ethical standards and show clinical awareness of available support in areas such as forensic and legal topics, mandatory reporting of abuse, confidentiality and managing risk.About you:Allied health professionals (AHPs; psychologists, social workers), and psychiatrists who have full and current professional registration to practice from relevant peak professional body (e.g.
AHPRA, AASW).Occupational therapists who have full and current professional registration to practice from AHPRA, and who have completed additional mental health training/endorsement in mental health.Division 1 Mental Health Nurses who have full and current professional registration.
