headspace Devonport incorporates a range of innovative specialist youth services offered to young people aged 12-25 in the North West of Tasmania.We are currently seeking a Mental Health Clinician to work from the headspace Devonport/Burnie sites. The roles offered are full-time and part-time and will be broad-based, integrating individual counselling, case management, group work, and Intake and Access work.Under the direction of the Clinical Lead and headspace Devonport & Burnie Centre Manager, you will work as part of the multidisciplinary team:Undertaking brief and comprehensive bio-psychological assessments to determine appropriate service pathways for young people experiencing mild to moderate mental ill health.Provide evidence-based psychological interventions that are culturally appropriate for both groups and individuals.Deliver psychosocial education and group work to young people, families/caregivers, and community groups.The Lead AgencyCornerstone Youth Services Inc. (CSYS) is the lead agency for headspace Devonport & Burnie. CSYS has been providing services to young people aged 12-25 in the community for over ten years.
