About the role South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our Hamilton Adult Mental Health and Wellbeing Service.
In this vital role, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality clinical care to consumers, families, and carers.
Your responsibilities will include providing both short and long term case management, conducting comprehensive assessments, and implementing evidence based treatment interventions.
The position also involves delivering outreach support, ensuring care is accessible in various settings such as consumers homes, residential care facilities, and community environments, as guided by clinical best practices.
As a Clinician at SWH, you will work within a structured framework that prioritises clear communication and collaboration with colleagues, families, carers, and both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless and effective service delivery.
Position Overview * Permanent Full Time, 80 hours per fortnight with a monthly ADO * Hamilton Campus * Classification: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3, Occupational Therapist Grade 2, Social Worker Grade 2, or Psychologist Grade 2 (or Provisional Grade 1) * Salary Range: $88,030 - $104,811 pro rata, plus superannuation This position is eligible for an incentive payment for rent, childcare, relocation costs and more, as part of the new workforce and incentive grants program administered by Rural Agency Workforce Victoria (RWAV).
What you bring * Qualification in Social Work, Psychiatric Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology.
* Strong skills and experience in mental health clinical services within a multidisciplinary framework.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A sound understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and contemporary practices.
* Previous experience working with elderly consumers or providing ongoing case management is highly regarded.
Additional Requirements: * Social Workers: Tertiary degree in Social Work and eligibility for AASW membership.
* Psychologists: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Psychologist.
* Nurses: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
* Occupational Therapists: Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Occupational Therapist.
