Granville Assertive Response Team is seeking to employ Mental Health Clinicians with mental health experience to join the innovative and dynamic team providing Assertive Case Management to people with a severe and persistent mental illness in our culturally diverse community.

Covers Auburn, Blacktown, The Hills Shire, Cumberland, and Parramatta LGAs. Provides primary, secondary, and tertiary health services. Serves the Greater Western Region with specialised care. What you'll be doing The Granville Assertive Response Team at Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking experienced Mental Health Clinicians to deliver recovery-focused care to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, fostering collaboration, empowerment, and holistic wellbeing.
Provide evidence-based intensive outreach and case management. Collaborate with consumers, carers, and agencies to develop individual care plans. Deliver person-centred, recovery-oriented interventions within a multidisciplinary team. Engage in quality improvement, supervision, and professional development activities. Work Monday to Friday, with potential for extended team operations in the future. Essential requirements Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker. Registration: Demonstrated full registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist OR for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW. Selection Criteria Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness. Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision. Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007. Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
