Mental Health Clinician - (Clinical Nurse, S, Psyc or OT) Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist mental health, substance and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana areas with services located in each area. Rockhampton is the principal service centre and as such provides the administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, and is the location of the acute adult inpatient facilities.
About the role: The Mental Health Clinician provides discipline specific and generalist clinical services utilising a range of modalities relevant to adult mental health services as a member of a multidisciplinary team. As a member of the team, you will contribute to the delivery of clinical mental health services in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
Deliver mental health clinical services, including mental state and risk assessment, triage, care planning, case management and therapy interventions for both adult (and Child and Youth Services). Provision of a sound level of clinical services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with an annual practicing certificate.
Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and / or registration with the appropriate registration authority, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.
