Mental Health Clinician - Aged Persons Mental Health ServiceMental Health Clinician – Aged Persons Mental Health ServiceFull Time – Part Time ConsideredThe Service:The Aged Persons Mental Health Service (APMHS) is a community-based service for people aged 65 years and over, with mental illness or who are at risk of developing mental illness, or behavioural difficulties associated with organic disorders of a degenerative nature.APMHS also offers care for people under 65 years who exhibit symptoms of a degenerative diseases.The Role:In this community based position, clinicians have the opportunity to build a relationship with their patients as they provide recovery focused treatment and support to persons experiencing mental illness throughout all stages of recovery.You will have the ability to apply a broad range of clinical skills through an integrated care model including initial assessment, case management, review and referral.
