About the role This is a part-time or full-time contract position based in Gladstone, ending on the 30th of June 2026.

As a Mental Health Clinician (Clinical Care Coordinator), you will collaborate with the Clinical Lead and Operations Manager to provide essential services throughout the Country to Coast Queensland (CCQ) region.
Your role will involve supporting clients with severe mental health conditions by delivering direct treatment and coordinating their care effectively.
Responsibilities include: Conducting thorough clinical assessments and developing tailored treatment plans Delivering evidence-based psychosocial interventions Managing a clinical caseload and conducting risk assessment with management plans Engage in data collection and contribute to monitoring and evaluation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders Facilitate care planning and review processes Monitor and escalate mental health needs as necessary Benefits for you: Training & Career Support: Internal clinical psychology supervision available for provisional psychologists.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Current annual practicing certificate from AHPRA or registered with AASW Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, mental health nursing, or a relevant discipline Experience with complex mental health Experience working in cross-cultural settings, particularly with First Nations people Experience working in trauma-informed and recovery-oriented service Ability to work in a team within a diverse environment Strong problem solving and analytical skills Excellent organisational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and software Requirements The successful applicant will have or be willing to obtain; Driver's Licence Police check Working with Children Check (blue card) About Open Minds Integrated Mental Health Services For over 111 years, Open Minds has been a premier provider of mental health services in NSW and QLD.
