About the role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Clinical Manager to oversee and lead our Southwest Mental Health Clinical Team.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective service delivery, maintaining clinical standards, and implementing best practice frameworks.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will provide direction, mentorship, and support to the South West Mental Health Clinicians, whilst working collaboratively with other stakeholders to enhance mental health outcomes in the community.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring high-quality care.Triage and allocate client referrals.Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team including mental health nurses and social workers.Monitor and report on clinical outcomes, ensuring data-driven decision making.Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, healthcare providers, and stakeholders.About you To be successful in this role, you will possess the skills and experience below :
Possess one of the following mental health qualifications: Social Worker (with Mental Health experience), Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Registered Psychologist (provisional or full).Current Registration with the relevant professional body.Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent understanding of mental health legislation and policies in Australia.How to Apply At GP Down South, we are dedicated to building and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the communities in which we live and work.
