About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Mental Health and Homeless Service. The Mental Health and Homeless Health Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative services and support for the daily and ongoing operational and strategic demands of the Mental Health & Homeless Health Clinical Director, Mental Health Service Manager and Homeless Health Service Manager. This includes but is not limited to: collecting accurate health care information, maintaining accurate documentation, handling general enquiries, provision of customer service, updating and managing patient database systems, diary maintenance, minute-taking of senior level committee meetings & management team meetings and other administration tasks. As an employee of the St Vincent's Health Network, the successful candidate will ensure the relevant hospital/health network policy and procedures are always applied.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Administrative Assistant who possess a passion for person-centred care. We welcome applications from people who have experience working in a senior administration role, attention to detail and initiative.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia
2. Highly developed skills in the use of MS Office applications including Word, Outlook and Excel and electronic clinical information systems with minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
3. Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
4. Exemplary planning, organisational and time management skills
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team whilst undertaking a diverse range of tasks with limited direction, within a high-pressure, high-volume work environment
6. Minimum two years' experience working in a senior level administrative support role (personal assistant, executive assistant, office manager etc)
7. Demonstrated ability to adhere to and maintain confidentiality at all times and act with discretion
8. Demonstrated proficiency in secretariat duties for committees including taking minutes, preparing agendas, documentation and reports
