RAAFA is seeking an accomplished, highly motivated and detail-oriented Membership Specialist to take RAAFA's member experience to the next level.
This role will see you focus on the membership life cycle from acquisition to retention, ensuring our members receive exceptional service and value.
As RAAFA's Membership Specialist, you will play a vital role in mapping the member journey, managing relationships and driving engagement strategies, resulting in growth and retention of our members.

Review, develop and activate a strategic customer service framework to proactively address member needs and exceed expectations. Develop strategies to set and achieve membership growth and retention targets, creating value propositions for membership and ensuring member satisfaction. Identify and deliver products and services to boost membership engagement. Work with high-performing teams across RAAFA to achieve membership and business growth objectives and increase membership engagement. Provide hands-on management of membership administration processes. Leverage data analytics to gain insights into member behaviour, preferences, and trends. Utilise sophisticated data insights to identify opportunities for improvement, develop targeted retention strategies, and optimise membership offerings to better meet the needs of current and prospective members. Manage the end-to-end member experience, streamlining processes, improving communication channels, and implementing member feedback mechanisms. Through strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives, maximise revenue generation opportunities. Cultivate a sense of community and engagement among existing members. Work with the team to deliver high-quality engagement events across the membership base. You will have:
A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field. Knowledge of industry best practices in membership management including evidence of effective retention tactics, dynamic membership recruitment strategies and engagement techniques that have been successful in similar associations. Experience in developing and leveraging data insights to inform decision making and using KPIs to measure and drive strategy. Ability to anticipate potential obstacles and challenges with proven experience in proactively implementing solutions to mitigate their impact on member satisfaction and retention. Ability to operate strategically, to develop long-term membership growth plans, aligning them with the association's overall goals and objectives. Experience in a similar senior membership management and coordination position. What you need to do:
