The Membership Growth and Retention Representative will play a crucial role in the retention and growth of ANMF (SA Branch) membership base. This will be done by ensuring that members see the value in our services, highlighting the value of the support, protection and development we have to offer. The role will focus on developing relationships with current and potential members while representing ANMF (SA Branch).
As the Membership Growth and Retention Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving membership growth and fostering member loyalty. This position involves executing targeted outreach activities according to a strategic schedule and a pre-established roster of site visits within the healthcare sector. Occasional travel within the greater metropolitan Adelaide area is required, along with attendance at key ANMF (SA Branch) events. During these visits you will deliver presentations, which involves public speaking, to engage both potential and current members, promoting the value of our services and supporting sustained membership growth.
The Membership Growth and Retention Representative will undertake their role in a manner that promotes the ANMF (SA Branch) both as a professional training and industrial organisation for employees engaged in the nursing industry.
Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain a strategic schedule for member outreach and engagementConduct regular site visits to healthcare facilities, with planned travel as neededDeliver public presentations to diverse audiences, focusing on member engagement and retentionRepresent the ANMF (SA Branch) at key events, fostering a positive image and strengthening member relationshipsAbout You: To be considered for the position you will demonstrate the following criteria:
Proven record of meeting and exceeding KPIsProven experience in salesStrong understanding of sales principles and the ability to create value for customersThe ability to articulate key benefits of membership with the ANMF (SA Branch)Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholdersRecord and maintain accurate data on the membership databaseHighly skilled in administration, scheduling and time managementSelf-motivated and reliable with a considerate and caring attitudeExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal)Confidently engage and talk to an audiencePrior experience in the healthcare or union sectors (desirable but not essential)Hold a current driver's licenseHold or be willing to obtain a current Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC)About us: ANMF (SA Branch) is the principal professional and industrial organisation representing more than 24,000 nurses, midwives and personal care workers across South Australia. The Membership Growth and Retention Representative position is a permanent part-time role (25-hours per week) and is classified in the ASO2 range (based on experience and skills), in accordance with the ANMF (SA Branch) Employees Agreement.
