Member Engagement Officer WFH & Fully Remote Permanent Role Part-Time (25 hours per week) Salary: $90,000 + Super (Pro-Rata) Cox Purtell is currently working with a peak not-for-profit organisation operating within the HR industry who are seeking a fully remote Member Engagement Officer to report to the CEO.
This is a great position with heaps of autonomy, opportunity and ownership from day one - responsible for attracting and retaining members through a variety of engagement activities, to hit membership targets – focussing on retention, satisfaction and ultimately growth.
The successful candidate will possess a broad range of skills and be experienced in working with membership organisations.
It's a varied role, encompassing marketing, sales, and membership management, therefore strong relationship-building and communication skills are essential, as is experience working with databases and CRMs.
Your Area of Responsibilities: Help drive retention and growth of our membership base through strategic initiatives and good customer service.
Proactively build and maintain relationships with individual and corporate members driving loyalty and retention, communicating membership benefits.
Seek feedback and take appropriate action to ensure that the membership experience is always positive and improving.
Maintain data in CRM ensuring it's accurate and up-to-date.
Support with CRM platform migration and roll-out.
Champion data analysis and reporting to help drive better decision making and quality control activities.
Provide regular and timely communication with Divisional Council President's and councillors.
Take an active role in events to promote further member engagement.
Take responsibility for continuous improvement activities to improve our service offerings, financial sustainability and to keep a pulse on member sentiment.
Your Profile: 10 years' experience in a membership/customer-focussed roles.
Database and CRM skills are essential.
Autonomous, pro-active attitude to work, will use your initiative to achieve goals.
Excellent communication skills – able to work across internal and external stakeholders and deliver through others.
Exposure to business development/sales environment would be very beneficial – experience growing customer/member base and ensuring retention is key.
Experience with new systems implementation and migration.
Professional maturity and business acumen.
Happy to be involved in all areas of the business - it's a lean team so a proactive and collaborative mindset is key.
Experience in managing overall customer service to a high standard.
