Volunteer Coordination & Support (Community Services & Development) Membership Community Coordinator - Port Melbourne, hybrid role. Our professional association is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Membership Community Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
This role involves planning and scheduling meetings, planning agendas, taking minutes, and keeping the database updated.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships within the professional community.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule meetings for the professional associationPrepare and distribute agendas and materials for meetingsAttend all meetings and provide minutes via copilotMaintain an up-to-date database of all members and their contact informationRespond to inquiries from members and potential members in a timely and professional manner (phone and email)Work closely with the members and committees to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standardCreate and maintain strong relationships within the professional community through regular communication and outreach campaignsAssist with the development and implementation of strategies to increase membership and engagementProvide regular reports on membership and engagement metricsQualifications and Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional association or non-profit organisationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management softwareKnowledge of best practices in membership engagement and community buildingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamIf you are a self-starter passionate about building communities and managing projects, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to make a positive impact within our professional association.
