Play a pivotal role in shaping our future as critical thinkers, innovators, and modern regulators.Job DescriptionThis essential role educates and engages with employers about their obligations under the Act, manages payment arrangements, reviews and prepares legal briefs of evidence for prosecution of offences.As an Employer Obligations Consultant you will be the conduit between employers and LeavePlus discussing instances when employers are in breach of the Construction Industry Long Service Act 1997. This role will provide strong grounding in legal and compliance knowledge to the successful applicant who will be responsible for managing payment arrangements, overdue charges and preparing evidence for prosecution of offences.Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Responsibilities:Engage, educate and guide employers, workers and legal representatives on reporting and payment obligations.Administer the management and enforcement of employer returns and payments.Manage and monitor return and payment compliance via call campaigns and multiple debt collection activities.Monitor, review and respond to Section 10 Notice queries in accordance with the Act and Rules associated with policies and procedures.Prepare briefs of evidence for prosecution and provide post-brief support to internal and external stakeholders.Identify, address and resolve case-related issues and complaints.Deliver on service level and quality targets putting LeavePlus members first at each stage of the process.Skills Required:Demonstrated success working in roles governed by strict compliance and legislative requirements.Experience in coping with difficult situations requiring sound influencing and negotiating skills and a resilient attitude.Results driven and outcome focused work experience.Qualifications:Proven experience in compliance, collection agencies, financial services, legal administration or accounting sector preferred.Prior experience working in a high-volume customer centric administrative role.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with administrative systems or databases.Join Our Team: If you enjoy problem solving and are driven by work requiring high levels of attention to detail and challenges when interpreting complex legislation this role will fuel you.
