As a part of the Avant Mutual Group, we look after the needs of over 50,000 health care practitioners, students and their families.As a Member Services Specialist, you will play a vital role in contributing to one of the fastest growing health funds. This is a key role within our Member Services team and is responsible for servicing members and meeting members' service expectations. We pride ourselves on our personal, expert service and providing extraordinary outcomes for new and existing members.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high quality, accurate information to members.Answer enquiries (by phone, fax, email or mail) promptly, competently and professionally, using correct processes, procedures, and systems.Manage member details and identify member retention, growth, and service opportunities.Understand information in relation to the health insurance industry as well as Doctors' Health Funds products, processes, and systems to ensure efficient and effective answering of member queries.Participate in coaching and training required to keep knowledge and skills up to date.Minimum Requirements:HSC or equivalent preferred.A friendly and approachable personality and a 'can do' attitude.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including listening and effective questioning skills.Time management, customer service, conflict resolution, and attention to detail.An aptitude to learn with a willingness to be involved and contribute to the success of the company.Why work at the Doctor's Health Fund?Our people and our culture are at the centre of everything we do at Doctors' Health Fund.
