Lifeline Australia's (separately incorporated) 17 Member organisations own and operate 43 Lifeline centres across all states and territories in Australia.They are thrilled to be embarking on an exciting transformation journey, guided by an ambitious 2024-2027 Strategic Plan, enabling enhancements across services, technology and workforce to bring about better outcomes and a more accessible and flexible support system for help-seekers.ROLEThe first of its kind, this exciting newly created Member Fundraising Manager position is responsible for working proactively with Lifeline's Member Network to grow fundraising and support, driving the delivery of the regional fundraising strategy within the State of Queensland, optimising fundraising and support for Lifeline with a focus on corporate and community fundraising channels.Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Campaigns and working closely with Lifeline's Member Network, this role will require an entrepreneurial and experienced strategic relationship fundraising professional (with a background in Corporate and Community Fundraising) to drive support and income for the Queensland market. This role offers real career progression opportunity whilst working with talented fundraising professionals for a well-known brand, committed to enabling all Australians access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport development and implementation of Queensland fundraising strategy, focusing on cost-effective fundraising activities and growing support and income in corporate and community.Deliver professional and exciting supporter experience focusing on high value community fundraisers.Build pipeline of community partnerships and fundraisers across Queensland.Manage Queensland fundraising website and digital platforms.Plan and manage local delivery of national campaigns including 'Out of the Shadows' and 'The Push Up Challenge' in the region.Work with National Strategic Partnerships teams to identify and secure states based corporate partnerships.Develop and nurture relationships with potential funders and fundraisers.Work collaboratively with marketing teams of Lifeline members in Queensland to implement successful fundraising.Work with Lifeline Members to leverage national fundraising opportunities within local communities.Development and implement range of tools to support member fundraising with a focus on digital channels.Engage with and develop strong networks and connections locally and regional with media, community and business groups.Work collaboratively with national Marketing and Fundraising teams to represent member fundraising interests.Build and report on annual budgets.Operation compliance with relevant state based fundraising legislation, best practice and member policy.Responsible for administrative duties ensuring supporters are acknowledged and thanked.YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTESDemonstrated success (3-5 years) in relationship management, community or corporate partnerships fundraising role.Demonstrated experience of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, retention of relationships and of building community.Depth of experience and knowledge in relationship base and peer to peer fundraising campaigns.Ability to build rapport, self-motivated, enthusiastic and goal orientated.Experience of working with diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, delivering to ambitious targets.Demonstrated business development and account management experience.Experience of working with, guiding and inspiring diverse community members.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with ability to make people feel at ease.Project and event management experience within a fundraising setting.Strong financial and business acumen.Highly organised, with ability to well under pressure.Excellent verbal, written and persuasive presentation and delivery skills.Ability to undertake overnight travel and work flexible hours.
