About the role: Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences? Join us as a Member Claims Advisor and be an essential part of HIF's Member Claims team – the forefront of our commitment to outstanding Member service.
Key responsibilities: Accurately process and audit health insurance claims, ensuring compliance with fund policies and procedures.Identify and rectify inconsistencies in claims data, enhancing the accuracy of member records.Engage with Members through various channels (phone, email, face-to-face) to address policy, product, and membership inquiries.Utilise training materials to navigate complex policy requirements and provide comprehensive information to Members.Stay updated on internal processes and product changes to offer up-to-date assistance.Collaborate across teams, contributing to various roles within Operations as needed.Qualifications and experience: Demonstrated understanding of the Australian health industry, including health insurance, hospitals, and allied health services.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Experience in the health sector, ideally within health insurance, hospitals, medical practices, or allied health.Minimum requirements: We offer an extensive Induction Program designed to ensure your success.
