About the Role The role will be working in MinRes' CSI Mining Services Division within their recently acquired Hazelmere workshop. This will be a fulltime position working Monday - Friday reporting directly to the Workshop Superintendent you will be responsible for ensuring all bids are submitted in an accurate and timely fashion represent the the best value equation for the tenderer and at the same time enable the business to generate long term sustainable profits. The main scope of the position will be estimating and putting together quotes for the following: Refurbishment, new buckets and booms , sticks & dump truck tray rebuilds.
Other respsobilities will include:
Prepare work to be estimated by gathering relevant documentation and informationProvide accurate cost assessments by analysing labour, material and time requirementsDemonstrate a detailed understanding of relevant costs and analyse to achieve optimal outcomesIdentify, quantify and manage risks and opportunities across all areas of responsibilityEnsure that assets are managed effectively to achieve budget utilisation ratesPrepare for and attend client and stakeholder meetings as requiredLiaise with senior management and professionally represent the company to external stakeholdersMaintain awareness of new and emerging techniques relevant to the workshop needsManages client and prospect interactions associated with the roleAt all times complying with MRL & Legislative HSE proceduresWhat you will bring to the team 3 + years experience working within an MEM workshop environment either as boilermaker or welderWell-developed project costing skillsWell-developed commercial acumen and ability to understand the business operationsAccurate reporting skills and computer literacyAlign workplace systems and processes with MRL systems and processesExcellent problem solving experienceAbility to communicate with stakeholders at all level across the businessA strong commitment to SafetyAnd then there's the extra benefits We look after our people because they're the ones looking after our business.That means a range of additional benefits for choosing MinRes including:
