Job Description: JMH is seeking an experienced GPS Hoe/Excavator Operator to join our team! As a GPS Hoe/Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating excavators equipped with GPS technology to perform digging, grading, trenching, and earthmoving tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GPS systems, experience operating GPS-enabled excavators, and the ability to achieve accurate excavation control. Responsibilities:
Operate excavators equipped with GPS technology for digging, grading, trenching, and earthmoving tasks Utilize the GPS system to achieve accurate positioning and excavation control Perform precise trenching and digging operations according to project requirements Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Conduct routine maintenance checks on the excavator and report any equipment malfunctions Coordinate with team members, including surveyors and supervisors, for efficient operations Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any incidents or safety concerns Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience operating excavators with GPS technology in excavation or earthmoving projects Strong understanding and proficiency in using GPS systems for excavation control Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines for equipment operation Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Good communication and teamwork skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to read and write English We offer competitive wage, rich benefits, PTO. #J-18808-Ljbffr
