We're looking to speak with a hybrid talent that excels in both public relations and social media marketing, to support and maintain a strong brand presence for a national healthcare organisation.
Supporting the Head of Strategy (Marketing), this PR + Social Media role will have a keen eye for detail and a proven ability to plan and execute digital marketing strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.
The Opportunity:
Developing and implementing external and internal communication activities through traditional media and digital media (such as social media & community engagement) to effectively communicate with internal employees.
Strengthen relationships with media outlets relevant to the strategic goals of the organisation.
This role will source and share customer insights to identify issues (actual and emerging), liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and inform strategy and decision-making across the organisation.
The social media portion of the role includes responsibilities for continuing to grow this organisation's social media presence, developing and tracking campaigns, managing the brand's online community, managing social media automation, and staying abreast of current social media trends, channels, technologies, and tools.
Develop engaging written content and maintain a consistent voice for traditional media, social media campaigns, and various platforms, including websites and social media.
You:
Minimum 8+ years' experience in a PR or digital marketing role or similar.
Relevant PR-related qualifications or similar.
Excellent media network.
Experience in developing social media plans, content, advertisements, and campaigns.
Copywriting and press release writing skills.
Knowledge and ability to manage Google Business Profile and Google Ads.
Design and editing skills with software such as Photoshop, InDesign.
Basic photography and videography skills.
Social media suites, website CMS, email marketing, and digital marketing skills.
Team player with a creative mindset and inquisitive nature.
Able to manage multiple projects and campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
Present professionally both in person and in written form.
Full of energy and enthusiasm, with a strong determination to succeed.
