We are currently seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking individual with an Engineering Degree in Mechatronics (CPU Programmer) to join our innovative engineering team.In this exciting role, you will be responsible for:Designing wiring and integrating it with hydraulic systems.Creating programs for machine movements and function cuts.Designing and programming screens for control interfaces.Programming and integrating control systems for our truck-mounted EWPs.This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in CPU programming, automation, and electronics who is eager to work with state-of-the-art technology in the heavy equipment industry. These trips will allow you to collaborate with global partners, gain international experience, and stay at the forefront of global trends in heavy equipment and control systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop and program CPU-based control systems for truck-mounted EWPs, ensuring precise, safe, and smooth operation of mechanical and hydraulic components.Design and integrate embedded systems for automation and control functions in EWPs.Collaborate with mechanical engineers and technicians to ensure the control systems meet operational requirements and specifications.Write and test software for electronic control units (ECUs) to manage the platforms' movements, safety features, and diagnostics.Troubleshoot and optimize existing control systems to enhance performance, safety, and reliability.Perform simulations and prototype testing to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the control systems.Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and EN280 regulations.Create technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, software architecture, and user manuals.Provide support and training to the maintenance team on the control systems for repair and servicing.Dealing with top management, Key internal staff and both internal and external stakeholders.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechatronics, or a related field. Experience is preferred.Preferred experience in Danfoss + onePreferred experience in CPU programming, particularly in industrial or automotive applications.Strong knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller programming.Preferred experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming is highly desirable.Preferred knowledge with CANbus protocols.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.If you are ready to take the next step in your career, we would love for you to join ACM EWP Group and be part of a team that is revolutionising elevation with truck-mounted elevated work platforms.
