An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Psychiatrist) to join a leading healthcare provider in the Gold Coast region with a team of over 11,000 professionals committed to delivering world-class healthcare services to the residents of the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales.
As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist in Adult Psychiatry, you will provide expert clinical support to Mental Health and Specialist Services.
You will play a key role in fostering a culture of medical education and ensuring safe, effective, patient-centered clinical practices.

Minimum Requirements:
Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B required.
Tuberculosis screening may be required.
MBBS or equivalent registrable with the Medical Board of Australia plus FRANZCP or equivalent acceptable to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and registrable as a psychiatry specialist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Internationally trained candidates may require an acceptable Comparability Assessment undertaken by the appropriate Australian Specialist Medical College.
May be required to move across three sites as per service needs.
Required to participate in an after-hours and on-call roster for the Mental Health and Specialist Services.

Permanent full-time position Estimated total remuneration up to $484,882 p.a., including: Senior Staff Specialist: Base salary from $244,201 - $258,910 p.a.
Staff Specialist: Base salary from $204,206 - $237,196 p.a.
