About The Role
We are seeking experienced Senior Medical Practitioners to join the growing team at a regional hospital located in the heart of Western Australia's stunning South West. As part of the hospital's Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to a diverse patient population while working in an innovative, fully supported environment. The role offers a range of appointments: permanent, fixed-term, and sessional, providing you with flexibility to suit your career and lifestyle needs.
In this position, you will:

Deliver emergency care in a 24/7 Emergency Department, with the option to expand your experience at a larger regional hospital. Develop advanced skills in Anaesthetics, Surgery, and Emergency Medicine, with the opportunity to work closely with leading consultants. Mentor and educate the next generation of rural medical practitioners, with an opportunity to teach medical students and supervise residents. Experience professional development like never before, including support for completing a Certificate and/or Diploma in Emergency Medicine. Make a difference by responding to the emergency needs of the local community, providing both inpatients and after-hours emergency responses in collaboration with general practitioners. About The Hospital And Region
This hospital is a pivotal part of the region's health network, offering a 25-bed inpatient facility and a newly upgraded Emergency Department with a state-of-the-art theatre complex. You'll be working alongside a collaborative team of experienced medical professionals, including long-term procedural GPs and visiting specialists. The hospital is supported by the nearby regional hub, providing excellent opportunities for collaboration, training, and professional growth.
The town itself is a charming, thriving community set 2h from Perth and just a short drive from Bunbury.
