Medical Typist/Receptionist

An Orthopaedic Clinic located at The Wesley Hospital is looking to appoint a Medical Typist to work on efficiently and accurately preparing clinical reports whilst also providing front desk medical reception support.
This role being offered is on a permanent part time basis that would see the successful candidate working 15hrs per week with flexible times. Position would be ideal for someone looking to work school hours due to the flexibility.  
To be successful in this role, the candidate ideally will have prior experience with medical typing.  
Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not limited to): Accurately typing and preparing clinical reports with efficiency and speedBilling Workcover & 3rd Parties for reportsResponding to patient enquiries via telephone Providing general support to the administrative team. In addition to the key duties and responsibilities, Candidates must be able to demonstrate: Prior experience preparing clinical reports within a Private Specialist PracticeProven experience working within a similar work environmentFriendly phone mannerProactive with strong time management and organisational skills along with ability to prioritise your workload efficientlyHigh level of competency in Microsoft Word and OutlookSalary will be guided by the Clerks Private Sector Award
