Medical Translator

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Medical Translator to join our medical team. As a member of our medical team, you will be delivering high-quality healthcare services to children and their families.
Job Locations: Big Springs Texas, Midland Texas, and Donna Texas.
Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Reading and translating the original documents Adhere to the standards of practice and code of ethics. Serves as a communicator between patients and staff. Requirements: Education: High School Diploma, certificate/transcripts of a completed medical interpreter training program consisting of 40 hours of training. Certification: Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Certification from either The National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (CMI) or The Commission for Certified Healthcare Interpreters (CHI) is highly desired and mandatory in some states. Experience: Minimum of two (2)+ years' experience as a Certified Medical Interpreter. Possess linguistic proficiency in English and the primary language for which is required for interpretation. Type of Contract: W-2 or 1099 Hours per week: 40 per week (this could alter pending on operational needs) Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision, 401K plan, 401K matching, paid holidays, paid time off.
