We are looking for friendly, hardworking, patient focused individuals to join our small, busy administration/reception team.
Our current opportunities are:
2 x 32 hours (4 days) a week - Permanent part-time.
Hours will primarily be Monday to Thursday for 8 hour shifts.
1 x 20 hours (2.5 days) a week - Part-time 12 month contract with the potential to be ongoing.
Hours will primarily be Wednesday and Thursday for 8 hours plus 4 hours every Friday.
(Please note that these hours may be flexible for the right candidate).

Key duties will include, but are not limited to:
Scheduling appointments and diary management.
Billing, receipting, invoicing, accounts and consultations.
Banking and reconciling accounts and following up on payments, unpaid invoices and debtors with Medicare, patients and other organisations.
Be first point of contact and manage enquiries promptly and efficiently, via phones, face to face, and other electronic communications
Process and manage, forms, documents, requests, correspondence, and files.
Other general office and administration duties,
Demonstrate and provide high levels of customer service, professional care and administration support to the patients, families, clinicians, staff, the business, other allied health services, and practice users or visitors.
Essential.
Experience / a willingness to learn / a keen interest in, basic accounts, billing, banking, and debtors.
Ability to work autonomously, show initiative and work productively, individually and within a team
Ability to multitask in a busy, fast paced, evolving and sometimes demanding environment where each day can be different
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload and duties on the go
Be self-motivating, mature, diligent, reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
Possess intermediate to advanced computer and technology skills,
A willingness and ability to learn new skills and industry specific computer programs.
The ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
Be available to work shifts between the hours of 8:30am and 6:00pm.
Understand and demonstrate inclusiveness
No weekend work or public holiday work is required.
Previous experience and training would be highly regarded, but not essential and training/mentoring will be provided.
Desirable skills and/or experience
· Previous experience or training in medical reception or similar administrative position
· Understand medical terminology
· Previous experience in the use of medical practice computer management software.
· An understanding of the Medicare benefits schedule (MBS) and/or item numbers.
