Northpark Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our consulting suites team on a part-time basis, with the potential to become full-time. As a Medical Secretary, your responsibilities will include: Performing a broad range of administration dutiesAnswering and redirecting callsTyping and dictaphone skillsOrganising appointmentsConducting follow-up requests and making reminder calls for visitsMaintaining accurate and effective record management systems, including preparation of medical recordsPatient and third-party billingCoordinating with staff from other departmentsCompleting other clerical tasks such as data entryDemonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skillsExhibiting highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentShowing strong attention to detailWorking well independently and within a teamHaving experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Being flexible with working hoursWhy Healthscope?
