Medical Scientist Grade 1-2 Part Time Fixed TermAnatomical Pathology - Cytology/HistologyPart time fixed termposition - 40 hours perfortnightBased at The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), Parkville - varied role working in Cytology and Histology experience dependant Join a supportive and diverse Pathology teamThe Anatomical Pathology department at RMH is a NATA and RCPA accredited laboratory which provides a wide range of Histopathology and Cytopathology testing, participation in multidisciplinary meetings, teaching and training activities, pathology registrar training, research activities, including tissue banking and deceased patient management.We are looking for a Grade 1-2 scientist (experience dependant) with Anatomical Pathology experience in Cytology and Histology to join our team of highly specialised scientists and technicians, in the provision of services to RMH and the Parkville Precinct medical providers. The new model for delivering public pathology services will present an exciting opportunity to improve the scope, scale and reach of pathology services and testing capability to all Victorians.As this role is with the Royal Melbourne Hospital the successful candidate for this role will be initially employed by the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
