Medical Scientist, Clinical Chemistry The CompanyOur client is a well-respected healthcare provider and pathology organisation with a central laboratory in South Brisbane, supporting around 40 clinics across South East QLD, Hospitals and clinical trials.
The RoleIn your role as Biochemistry scientist, you will work in a hospital laboratory and be responsible for running the high-volume track system.
This involves validation, reading results and ensuring the track system runs smoothly.
You will be handling a high volume of samples per day and will need to be able to work to tight turnaround times.
About You A bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science or equivalentExperience in a clinical laboratory environmentExperience with BiochemistryFull working rights for AustraliaAbility to work across different shifts time and daysAbility to start ASAPFlexibility is a mustBe able to work over the Christmas HolidaysThe Benefits Casual positionRange of shifts from 6am-11pmStarting on day shifts for trainingExcellent hourly rateNo night shifts*There is no car parking provided, you must be able to access public transport and travel to South Brisbane.
