What you'll do Join our New Zealand oncology medical team and be part of fulfilling our ambition to be world leaders in oncology.

We are currently looking for a Medical Science Liaison based in New Zealand to deliver on medical strategy for the country.
You will:
Provide actionable information to key clinicians that enhances the value and appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products to internal stakeholders.
Respond to customer inquiries to ensure focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of AstraZeneca's products and services.
Develop appropriate clinical and scientific information that clinically differentiates AstraZeneca's products.
Essential for the role Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (ex: Medicine, Pharmacy or disease related science) Experience as a Medical Science Liaison Experience in the pharmaceutical industry with knowledge of oncology disease area and treatment Strong ability to work cross functionally with an agile mindset and a willingness to work across different brands Experience with basic research, drug discovery, drug development and KOL interactions Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Excellent project management skills Excellent presentation skills High level analytical and conceptual thinking Strong leadership Ability to travel nationally Desirable for the role Master's degree/PhD/PharmD in a scientific discipline or MD and extensive experience within Medical; MBA Knowledge of the latest technical and regulatory developments Experience in product launch or strategy development and execution Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication Why AstraZeneca?
