The Opportunity
CSL Seqirus has an exciting opportunity available for a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our in-licensed pharmaceutical team. In this field-based position, you will provide medical and scientific information for an Allergy therapeutic area associated with significant public health burden. You will engage and build strong relationships with key external medical experts; gather insights and facilitate knowledge exchange, knowledge translation and data generation for pre-launch product.
You will identify and map Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), scientific networks, and health consumer organisations, foster relationships to provide medical and scientific information to both internal and external stakeholders and contribute to the realisation of medical affairs objectives. You will facilitate peer-to-peer education to ensure knowledge transfer and scientific understanding, collaborate with internal stakeholders to support and shape future strategy and drive scientific/clinical knowledge through medical activity execution, training and through insights gathering and sharing. You will facilitate the consideration of proposals for collaborative and investigator initiated studies and speaker development and involvement, participate in Scientific and Medical symposia and assist with the development of CSL Seqirus' sponsored programs.
The Role:
Reporting to the Associate Medical Director you will develop collaborative and respectful relationships with internal stakeholders; credible and durable relationships with health care professionals (in particular key opinion leaders) and other relevant external stakeholders. Candidates based in Melbourne or Sydney will be preferred.
Your Experience:
Advanced Scientific Degree (PharmD, Ph.D., M.D., MPH)3+ years relevant pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry experienceExperience as an MSL and/or allergy therapeutic area expertise are highly desirable.Ability to analyse and interpret complex clinical dataManage projects developed in a field-based environment, provide oversight, demonstrate excellent judgmental skills and work in a continuous improvement environment.Adopt and utilise new digital technology and other resources with medical customers and record medical interactionsCompliance with internal/external SOPs/Rules/Regulations regarding CSL Seqirus/customer interactions and relationships.
