Medical Rescue is seeking full-time AHPRA Registered Paramedics for FIFO/DIDO work in remote clinics at the Snowy hydro 2.0 project.

The Opportunity: As a FIFO/DIDO paramedic you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality medical services to workers on a large-scale construction project.
Operating in remote conditions, you will be working on a rotating roster on the schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, completing 12-hour shifts with an on-call component alongside our team in one of the 5 clinics on-site. You will be responsible for patient assessment, out-of-hospital care, and patient transfers, requiring the ability to work independently. Your primary focus will be providing out-of-hospital medical care at remote emergency medical clinics, which may include providing primary healthcare solutions, responding to medical emergencies, and helping assist and co-ordinate patient transfers off site. Additionally, you will ensure site safety, actively participate in drug and alcohol testing, conduct hydration checks, and contribute to site audits and safety plan reviews alongside administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities: Undertaking the full duties of an ACP/ICP as defined in your scope of practice.Maintaining patient and team safety during pre-hospital emergencies, extrication from remote or difficult environments, and patient transport.Providing clinical care (triage, assessment, treatment, monitoring, and transport) to patients in accordance with Clinical Practice Guidelines, standard operating procedures, and policies or in consultation with the Medical Director.Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of interactions with all patients, including reporting.Communicating effectively with other health care professionals, emergency service personnel, colleagues, and patients.Participating in patient safety, clinical quality, risk management, and clinical and operational practice improvement activities.Maintaining the highest levels of integrity and professionalism with respect to the role, including confidentiality and ethical practice.Ensuring the security, safety, and maintenance of all equipment, drugs, and consumables.Great work-life balance, only work 6 months of the year!Opportunities for growth.Private rooms with ensuite facilities provided on site and access to Wi-Fi, gym facilities, and complimentary meals.Flights and accommodation covered; employees responsible for travel to the closest major East Coast airport (some regional airports accepted).Requirements: The successful candidate will need to currently hold or be willing to obtain:
Minimum of 3 years' experience post-graduation.Drug & Alcohol Testing Certificate - HLTPAT005.Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions.Current ALS certificate.Construction White Card.ALS 1 or 2 Certificate.4WD certificate.Police Check.Pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.Working with Children's Check.Operational experience with a state-based ambulance service and prior experience in remote site or industrial work on construction projects is highly desirable.The ability to work autonomously, as well as with a team and to be 'on call' when required.How to Apply: If you're ready for a challenging and unique opportunity, please ensure you Click the 'APPLY' button and upload your resume and cover letter.
