(AO3)17.5% leave loading + leave12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.About the roleProcess paper clinical documents to accurately scan, quality control and validate to the correct patient medical record in ieMR, and in the correct order of filing, to ensure clinical documents are available for clinicians to provide timely clinical care.Deliver exceptional person-centred customer service to patients, their families and the public, assisting and directing patients, visitors and colleagues in an effective and courteous manner.Build good relationships with patients, their families and work colleagues by using strong communication and negotiation skills to understand customers' needs and deliver a service that meets their needs with adherence to policy and standards.Skills and experienceMaintain confidentiality whilst accessing patient records, secure storage areas of the hospital and delivering patient medical records to wards, clinics and other hospital departments.Ability to prioritise and manage workloads to achieve tasks within designated time frames and perform tasks with limited supervision.High level communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with internal and external customers and stakeholders.Proven ability to work effectively as a member of a diverse team to achieve unit goals and support others in the overall performance of the work unit.Please refer to the role description for further details.About the locationTownsville University Hospital is a great place to work and Townsville itself is a great place to live - with the natural wonders of Magnetic Island a short boat ride away and Townsville being one of the main gateways to the Great Barrier Reef.
