Your impact, with us As our highly valued Medical Receptionist, you'll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of heart and cardiovascular conditions.
Based in Midland, you are responsible and accountable for providing and achieving a high quality, accurate and efficient reception and administrative service to the practice and its patients.
You'll make a meaningful impact by: Ensuring an absolute commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and customer with consideration to achieving quality and productivity targets as set by the business.
Daily operational management of the front desk which includes but is not limited to general reception and administrative services for the clinic including answering phones, making and managing patient appointments.
Effective diary management incorporating consultation and testing appointments in line with utilisation targets, key performance indicators and administrative protocols for appointments, testing and hospitals admissions.
Attention to detail and pride in delivering consistently accurate work with aptitude and integrity.
What you'll bring To succeed in this role, you will have: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all.
Proven track record of effectively working both independently and as part of a team to achieve organizational goals.
Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Access and the capacity to quickly adapt to medical software systems.
Exceptional organisation and communication skills, enabling efficient teamwork within an administrative support setting.
Outstanding phone manner and adeptness in handling various patient inquiries, reflecting a high standard of professionalism and attentiveness.
Ability to cover other clinics when required (driver's licence/motor vehicle would be an advantage).
