Medical Receptionist

Gwelup Medical Centre is seeking a bubbly, enthusiastic, experienced medical receptionist who will be the perfect fit for our family-friendly team.
The Medical Receptionist role is the primary point of contact for our patients, doctors, and allied health providers.
The successful applicant will be working a minimum of 20 hours per week. Hours would be between 7.00am to 7.00pm from Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays from 7.30am to 1.00pm.
Responsibilities: Greeting patients Handling a variety of patient phone call enquiries Booking appointments and entering patient data Generating invoices and receiving payments Processing Medicare claims Handling incoming mail and preparing mail to send Maintaining doctors' bookings and schedules Being responsive to other team member requests Taking all doctors' requests in a timely manner Other ad hoc administration as required Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the medical field Ability to work in a team Best Practice Software experience beneficial but not essential Excellent computer abilities including Microsoft Office Exceptional phone manner Ability to multitask and prioritize at all times Applicants with the most relevant experience and skills only will be contacted.
