Medical Receptionist

Job Summary We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at Kings Practice in Perth. The successful candidate will have proven inter-personal skills and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a small cohesive team. Duties

Greet patients and visitors to the health centre in a courteous and professional manner. Be competent in the use of the IT system to generate appointments for patients, manage prescription requests, file clinical correspondence, respond to and act upon tasks set by clinical staff. Answer phone calls and emails, as per agreed protocols. Maintain patient records accurately and ensure confidentiality at all times. Liaise with health care staff and third party professionals in support of best patient care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in an office or administrative role is desirable but not essential. Proficient IT skills are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
