Medical Receptionist

Located in TerrigalThe Role We are seeking an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our wonderful team on a casual basis at the Skin Integrity Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Clinic.
This position entails approximately 4 days per week, with the flexibility to cover sick and annual leave. Our current opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
As a medical receptionist in our practice, you will be responsible for:
Warmly greeting and assisting patientsScheduling appointments and pro-actively coordinating the appointment bookAccurate data entry of patient informationProcessing paymentsManaging phone and email queriesAssisting in tidying up consult roomsGeneral administration duties as required
Qualifications & Attributes Previous experience in an administrative/reception role within the Healthcare industry or similar is essentialCustomer-focused with a commitment to patient careA strong team player who contributes to a positive work cultureApproachable, reliable and dependableExcellent communication skills, professional presentation and positive can-do attitudeSensitive in your approach when dealing with patientsAuthorised to work in AustraliaCurrent National Police CertificateLeaders in Skin Cancer Medicine
