About the service: The Head to Health/Medicare Mental Health Centre service model is tailored to the needs of the local community and offers a combination of peer-integrated recovery and clinical support to provide a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for people experiencing psychological distress or mental health issues. Allowing individuals to identify alternatives to presenting to the Emergency Department and gaining support from trained mental health professionals within their community.
On Offer: Based in Launceston, TASPermanent, full-time opportunityExcellent Base Salary plus SuperSalary packaging options (up to $15,899 tax free!!)Meals and entertainment allowance of up to $2,650!!Leave loading at 17.5%Stride Rewards – access to discounts from 100s of retailers (fashion, food and fitness)One paid wellbeing leave day per yearPurchase up to 5 additional leave days in a 12 month period (pro rata entitlement if part-time)Paid parental leaveExcellent training & career developmentRole overview: Acts as the central point of communication and provides a superior level of secretarial and reception services to people 18+, and support clinical and management staffMedical Reception duties including taking incoming calls and directing the caller to the appropriate member of staffAppointment scheduling and maintenance of clientsGeneral Office duties including opening and distribution of mail, typing, scanning, filing and archivingAssist in the closing and securing of the building at the end of the day.General housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and clientsRequirements: Excellent administration, time management, and organisational skills with attention to detail (a certificate in Health Administration, Medical Practice Assisting, Business - Medical Administration, Medical Reception, and the like would be an asset)Well-developed customer service skillsKnowledge of the mental health/not-for-profit sector with an ability to liaise with people from all backgrounds, government, non-government organisations, and community organisationsDemonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organisational skillsProven record in working closely with and being a successful member of a multi-disciplinary teamPrevious Medical Reception experience would be highly advantageousProficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM applications would be highly advantageousThe ability to learn a new medical software program would be an advantageMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCCMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceA current unencumbered driver's licenseVaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all positions and is in accordance with Stride policy.
