About the Opportunity We are looking for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our Katoomba team on a casual basis.
This role requires full availability Monday to Friday between 8 AM to 5 PM.
Initially, full-time hours are available for training and leave cover, with the potential for a permanent opportunity in 2025.
As a Medical Receptionist, you will: Be the first point of contact for patients, handling face-to-face and phone registrations, bookings, triage, and queries.
Manage payments, issue receipts, and handle billing and invoicing.
Operate our booking system efficiently.
Assist with back-office activities, including outbound calls, data entry, and reporting as directed by your manager.
About You In addition to your passion for excellent customer service and organisational skills, you will bring: Flexibility in working hours.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a dedication to patient care.
Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks while maintaining timely service.
Adaptability to various databases and systems.
Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
