This position reports to the Administration Manager with the overall purpose of providing efficient, effective and responsive administration services, ensuring delivery of exceptional standards to customer service for patients, Visiting Medical Officers, Nurses and all other internal and external contacts.Things you'll be doing:Welcoming patients, collecting and entering personal detailsScheduling appointmentsTriaging referrals to on-site specialistsAnswering telephone calls and responding to enquiriesPatient admission, health-fund checks and detailing additional patient costsEntering and processing patient billing and balancing daily bankingMonitoring and assessing the administration care path of all patientsMaintaining and managing patient informationSupporting Icon's WHS Officers and committees to effectively carry out their responsibilitiesSkills & Experience:Experience in a front line health administration role including the use of electronic management systems.
