Inside Out Occupational Therapy Group?is currently looking to recruit a Medical Receptionist and an Administration Officer , with both full-time and part-time positions considered. This position will involve working within?a family-centred Occupational Therapy Clinic, with the purpose of providing high quality front of house business and customer service for children and their families.
We are currently seeking skilled and motivated people to join our growing clinic. Our admin team are responsible for various administrative tasks, ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of the clinic and providing essential support to our Occupational Therapists and families.?
Essential requirements:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Passionate about delivering excellent customer service, with a client focused and proactive approachExperience in invoicing and reconciliation processes Working knowledge of Medicare items, NDIS and medical terminologyExcellent Microsoft Office and IT skills (knowledge of Cliniko patient management system preferred but not essential)Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Inquisitive nature and a desire to problem solve Ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and excellent documentation skillsWarm and engaging style with children and familiesPolice clearance and Working with Children Check would be required as you are working with children and families Key Responsibilities:
Clinic organisation tasks such as opening/closing the clinic and preparation of the waiting room Answering and returning phone calls and queries Assist clients by scheduling appointments, and providing essential/necessary information about our services. Invoicing patients, processing payment and rebatesProcessing referrals and necessary documentation? Scanning and attaching documents to patients' electronic records Liaise with other services and professionalsAssisting OTs and Practice Manager where necessaryInvolvement in quality improvement activitiesOther specialised and miscellaneous tasks as requiredBeing the first point of contact at the clinic, the successful applicants will have a warm and friendly personality and phone manner. They will demonstrate the ability to be proactive with good problem-solving skills, value attention to detail and be reliable and committed members of the team.
These roles would be ideally suited to someone who has a strong interest in customer service and administration and enjoys learning new skills within a supportive team. We are open to applicants seeking both full-time and part-time hours, and school hours will also be considered.
