Medical Receptionist/ Administration OfficerMedical Receptionist/ Administration Officer Casual roleFree parkingThe Opportunity Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking a Casual, experienced Medical Receptionist/ Administration Officer with the view to permanent part time with an immediate start. The position is responsible for management and leadership of general practice and for the operation of organisational objectives, policies and procedures with the aim of meeting agreed standards in patient care, human resources and budgetary management.
As the Medical Receptionist/ Administration Officer your responsibilities will include: Perform a broad range of administration duties including:Manage a busy reception deskAnswer and redirect callsOrganise appointments and prepare admission paperworkConduct follow up requests and make reminder calls for visitsMaintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsPerform Health Fund Checks as requiredManage the collection of excesses/co paymentsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks as requiredAbout You To be successful in your application, you will: Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical recordsPerform Health Fund Checks as requiredManage the collection of excesses/co paymentsCoordinate with staff from other departmentsComplete other clerical tasks such as data entryQualifications: Minimum 1 year of administrative experience (or equivalent)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritise tasks and work independently while maintaining accuracyA positive and proactive attitudeEager to learn and grow within a dynamic environmentBenefits: Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive work environmentBe part of a growing and successful teamWould you like to know more?
