Job Title: Medical Oncology FellowWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced medical professional to join our team as a Medical Oncology Fellow. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of our department's Consultants at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, providing leadership and education to other medical practitioners, undertaking clinical research and trial work, preparing and applying for research grants, undertaking outpatient clinics and clinical duties, and participating in research and quality improvement activities in the Oncology department.
Key Responsibilities:Provide clinical support, education, and supervision to the Medical Oncology research department and junior medical staffWork collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the Medical Oncology department at Sir Charles Gairdner HospitalAdvance the clinical trial and research program to provide patients with treatment options and access to new and innovative products and interventionsRequirements:Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of AustraliaClinical experience in a relevant specialty at or above postgraduate levelHighly motivated with an interest and commitment to research, quality improvement, and educationWhat We Offer:Professional development and study leave/assistance as outlined in the WA Health AMA Industrial AgreementAccess to generous salary packagingFlexible working arrangementsFlexible leave arrangementsEmployer superannuation contributionHow to Apply:Applicants are requested to apply online via MedCareersWA.
