The RoleOur client in Darwin is seeking a Staff Specialist Medical Oncologist responsible for specialist diagnosis, treatment and care for public hospital outpatients in the subspecialty of medical oncology.The LocationSituated on the edge of a harbour bigger than Sydney's, this is a beautiful, fascinating tropical city, a melting pot of people and cultures that prides itself on its unique and friendly laid-back lifestyle. It is the home of NT commerce and business and with its world-class natural and cultural attractions it is also a thriving hub of activity in terms of tourism, nightlife and retail.The FacilityThis is a Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. The hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals and remote Aboriginal communities. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University with an onsite Medical School and is ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training.The RequirementsTo apply you must either be:Registered with AHPRA and have at least 12 months recent experience in Medical OncologyOn RACP training program within 6 months of completing fellowshipHold or be eligible for the FRACPIMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZIMG's with RACP interview dateIMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable.For more information please Apply Now or call Thom on 0468 778 768.
