This position is based in Albury, but we may have flexible working arrangements available including FIFO, hybrid and locum options if these locations are not close to where you reside.

You will be responsible for the delivery of primary medical care to patients forming part of a multidisciplinary team working toward the shared purpose of achieving and maintaining the health and well-being of Defence members.
You will play an integral role in assessing Defence personnel for fitness for duty and in the provision of care that will support the health and well-being of members pre- and post-deployment.
Supported by a Team of Senior Medical Officers and uniformed colleagues, you will be a thought leader and provide expert medical and technical guidance to various medical units, health commands, centre managers and unit commanders.
To be successful in this role you will have: Current unconditional and unrestricted General registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR, Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration.Minimum of 2 years full-time postgraduate experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent), GPT Registrar rotations are counted.Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities per AHPRA.Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.As security clearance is required for this role, you will be required to be an Australian Citizen, and attain and maintain baseline clearance.Location & Flexibility: Discover the charm of Albury Wodonga, where vibrant city life meets stunning natural beauty!
